A dog walks into our lives, and we have a new family member.
I have been a proud owner of 6 German Shepherds for 15 years. I saw them grow, give birth, and everything in between. They all had different personalities, but they all share being very loyal and protective, and I could almost swear they read my mind.
Decades later, they still have an imprint in my life. Your doggies will too!
So this blog is really to celebrate dogs, learn about them, and learn about ourselves through them.
...and to learn how to live "one paw at a time"...

A DOG WALKS INTO A BAR...

Naki’o is the first dog to be fitted with a complete set of bionic paws that work naturally to allow him to run, jump and even swim. Nakio received the paws after his own were severely hurt from stepping into an ice puddle as a puppy. The prosthetics were designed and fitted in a pioneering procedure by Martin Kaufmann, founder of Orthopets.
